Blinn College’s Star of the Republic Museum will bring Texas history to life once more when it hosts its annual Night at the Star of the Republic Museum. Located at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site, the museum invites families to arrive any time between 7 and 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5. The museum lights will be turned down and the exhibits will come to life with live characters that step forward to tell the story of the Texas Republic. Visitors are encouraged to bring flashlights for use while they explore the museum. This family-friendly event is designed for museum visitors of all ages. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and free for children ages 6 and under. Anyone with a current Blinn College ID receives free admission.
