As the story goes, the 12th man: At one football game there were so many injuries that the Aggies were going to have to forfeit the game because they didn’t have enough players but they pulled someone out of the stadium to put a jersey on and stand on the sideline so that they could continue playing. That guy was the “12th man,” and from then on all Aggies have to be willing to be the “12th man” if the team needs them.
